After passing through Mississippi, the last stop on my road trip was Mobile, Alabama. Finding a basketball court around here wasn’t too easy as it was getting late and we still had a lot more driving to do. We came across John Kidd Park and although it looked like a middle school type of court, there were no school buildings around. Wish there would have been more time in Mobile, but this gives you a look at how something so simple can allow for so much fun. There were no lines for out of bounds or free throws, but one can just picture themselves there with friends, playing games until the sun goes down and you can’t see the ball anymore.
